The liquid containing sludge flows into the inlet from the upper side of the centrifugal filter in a tangential direction. When the sludge and liquid flow internally, the sludge slides down the inner wall of the centrifugal filter by strong centrifugal force

After that, the sludge flows through the outlet of the centrifugal filter to discharge the filtrated sludge. Very fine sludge, on the other hand, settles slowly because there is not enough centrifugal force, so before reaching the inner wall, it is discharged from the upper filtrate outlet along with the upward flow and clean liquid.
